Seattle Photographer
Geoff Manasse specializes in photographing people in groups and individually. His cross-cultural experience combines a sensitivity to client needs which has been responsible uses in books, magazines and the walls of many loving families. His style is not rushed, but considered. Emotions play across the faces of a large group and there may only be a moment when the time and the place when is perfect to click the shutter. As such, great portraits are an evolution of understanding and appreciation for what might be learned before that magical moment occurs.
You do not want to feel rushed when making a family photo, but what if you are organizing a company photo? That's no problem because Geoff will meet your schedule with a fully researched location and enough assistance to allow the attention of the crowd to focus. Probably a result of the air-orchestra-conductor impulse, he loves being in front of a big group. Musical organizations are particularly a favorite subject.
He will make you look great. Geoff can handle make-up for a close in portrait if it seems necessary. He can add just the right amount to knock down blemishes or excessive shine.
Need many people photographed individually or in small groups and want to save money? Geoff can suggest creative payment options to spread the cost thinly over the group, keeping the expense down for your organization.
If you come to Geoff Manasse Photography and ask about a style of photography he doesnt normally do, he will recommend a top professional who can fill your needs. As one of the current co-presidents of the American Society of Media Photographers in Seattle, he is well-networked into the photography trade and would rather pass on the reference than say he does everything. No one can do everything well.
For family clients, when it comes time to look at your photos, Geoff will give you a presentation with a digital projector and screen. Everything is easier to judge when it is big and clear. For commercial clients, or if you are in a remote location, the images can be viewed over the internet.
Geoff loves to travel but he also lives in Seattle because it is so beautiful. 98% of his portraits occur outside of a studio, so he will usually go to you to make the photo. Being in a major city, however, has the advantages of being able to rent a studio space if one seems to be required. Other spaces for particular needs are commonly used for his photography. Geoff has used halls, homes, private beaches and soccer fields. The location of a photo adds so much. Finding the perfect place at the perfect time is worth planning for.
